Get Your Jackpot Approved! 

The Alberta Ladies Breakaway Roping Association (ALBRA) is growing, and we’d love to have you on board as a jackpot host for the 2026 season.

To make this year’s finals bigger and better than ever, we need more jackpots affiliated with ALBRA. That’s why we’ve simplified the approval process to make it as easy and convenient as possible for hosts like you.

How It Works

• Send us your jackpot details.

• Pay a $15 approval fee.

• Highlight or check off the girls who have ALBRA memberships on your results sheet. 

• Email us your full results (not just the winners)  once the jackpot is completed. 

• That’s it! No extra costs for participants.

We’ll promote your jackpot through our platforms, and if needed, we can even set up online entries for you. All we ask in return is that you send us a photo of your results once your event is complete.

Why Join ALBRA?

• More Contestants at Your Events: This year, we’re introducing year-end awards for the ropers who earn the most points by attending jackpots. This incentive will encourage more competitors to travel and enter more jackpots—including yours!

• No Entry Restrictions: Being ALBRA-approved does not limit who can enter your jackpots. Both members and non-members are always welcome.

• A Bigger, Better Finals: Last year’s finals and jackpot day had  over 400 breakaway runs, paid out just under $20,000 in prize money, $8000 in prizes, and a spot for Rope For The Crown! 

• Flexibility for Hosts: You choose your own format – we don’t dictate how you run your jackpot.

• Support When You Need It: If you’re new to hosting, we’re happy to provide guidance and even send volunteers (when available) to help you get started.
